Functional medicine looks at the root causes of symptoms rather than just treating them with prescriptions. Instead of asking “What medication will help this?” we ask “Why is this happening in the first place?” It’s personalized, holistic, and focused on long-term healing—not temporary fixes.
The Moline Method is my signature approach to root-cause wellness. It blends functional lab testing, personalized protocols, and practical lifestyle support for women—especially those navigating hormone imbalances, fatigue, gut issues, or preparation for pregnancy. It’s real-life functional medicine that works with your body and your season of life.
Yes! All appointments are held virtually, so you can meet from the comfort of your home—no commute, no waiting rooms. You’ll also have access to secure messaging between sessions for questions, support, or quick check-ins. I’m here to walk with you every step of the way.
While most of my clients are women, especially moms and those in their 30s–60s, I occasionally work with men and teenagers on a case-by-case basis, especially for gut health, energy, or fertility.
Absolutely. Whether you're planning to conceive in the next 6–24 months, actively trying to conceive, or exploring fertility treatment options, I help individuals and couples optimize their health before pregnancy. My goal is to identify opportunities for improvement in areas such as nutrition, hormones, sleep, stress, gut health, and overall wellness so you can build the healthiest possible foundation for conception and pregnancy.
Many people start with my Preparing for Pregnancy Guide or fertility lab options. These resources provide practical, affordable steps to help optimize fertility and identify potential areas that may need further attention. For those with more complex fertility challenges, abnormal lab findings, recurrent pregnancy loss, or unsuccessful fertility treatments, functional medicine consultations can help investigate deeper root-cause contributors.
OBs and fertility clinics play an important role in fertility and pregnancy care. My role is different. Rather than prescribing medications or performing fertility procedures, I focus on identifying and addressing lifestyle, nutritional, hormonal, metabolic, and other root-cause factors that may influence fertility. Functional medicine can be used before trying to conceive, while trying to conceive, or alongside fertility treatments such as IUI or IVF.
In short, yes. Fertility is a couple's issue, not just a woman's issue. While I can work with individuals who want to improve their health before pregnancy, I strongly encourage evaluation of both partners when conception is the primary goal. Assessing both egg and sperm health often uncovers important factors that could be overlooked when focusing on only one partner. For this reason, I offer discounted consultation pricing when both partners are involved in the process.
No, I don’t accept insurance. Functional medicine consulting is often not covered by insurance, but you may be able to purchase your supplements with HSA/FSA funds if supplements are covered by your plan. Many clients find the long-term results and deeper care worth the investment.
As a licensed pharmacist, I understand medications deeply—but in this role, I do not prescribe or adjust prescriptions. I’ll collaborate with you and your healthcare team to ensure everything works together safely, and help you explore natural alternatives when appropriate.
Many clients experience improvements in energy, digestion, mood, cycle regularity, sleep, and overall quality of life within the first few months. For those focused on fertility, common goals include improving ovulation, hormone balance, egg and sperm health, pregnancy outcomes, and overall reproductive wellness. Every person and couple is different, and while no healthcare provider can guarantee pregnancy, my goal is to help you build the healthiest possible foundation for conception and a healthy pregnancy.
